PDW, Revenant Sign MOU to Build Ukrainian Defense Tech in U.S.

Washington – October 12, 2026 -- Performance Drone Works (PDW) and Revenant Technologies have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to identify, evaluate and speed the U.S. production of selected battle-proven Ukrainian defense technologies, with manufacturing anchored at PDW's 90,000-square-foot Drone Factory 01 in Huntsville, Alabama.

The companies will initially evaluate mutually selected opportunities across five areas: unmanned systems, counter-UAS, electronic warfare, sensors and mission-critical components. Opportunities may include complete systems as well as critical components.

Revenant supplies validation and customer access; PDW supplies engineering and production

Revenant will contribute capability validation and selection, Ukrainian partner relationships, U.S. customer engagement and warfighter integration. PDW will handle systems engineering, supply chain localization, product integration, testing and scalable U.S. production.

The arrangement gives U.S. customers a route to evaluate relevant capabilities. It also gives Ukrainian developers a path to set up domestic integration, manufacturing and support. Further development and production decisions will depend on customer requirements and technical readiness.

PDW CEO says best solutions may originate outside U.S. borders

PDW CEO James Slider said the best warfighter solution will not always come from inside the company or the country, and that PDW brings the engineering and industrial capacity to turn selected capabilities into systems U.S. forces can field and sustain.

The MOU advances PDW's strategy of identifying superior technology wherever it originates, adapting it to U.S. requirements, and establishing the qualification, production and support needed to field it at scale.

Revenant ties the deal to its ARENA training environment

Revenant CEO Brendan Reilly said the partnership creates a framework for delivering Ukrainian technology through American production lines, citing PDW's manufacturing capacity and investment in American supply chains. He said the framework also feeds ARENA, Revenant's force-on-force training environment, in which U.S. warfighters face an adversary using uncrewed systems and the methodologies that make them work in combat.

Framework carries no binding commitments

Specific technology partnerships, manufacturing commitments and other commercial activities remain subject to evaluation, applicable regulatory requirements and separate definitive agreements.

PDW will host customer, partner and media meetings at AUSA 2026, held October 12-14 in Washington, D.C., to discuss its aircraft portfolio, partner technologies and domestic industrial strategy.
