DENVER – October 29, 2026 -- Pathlock has been named an Overall Leader in KuppingerCole Analysts' 2026 Leadership Compass for Lean Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), the highest distinction in the report.
Pathlock rates as a Leader in all three evaluation categories
The report assesses identity lifecycle management and access governance solutions, with a focus on the requirements of midsize enterprises. Pathlock was rated a Leader across the Product, Innovation, and Market categories.
KuppingerCole attributed the Overall Leader placement to five capabilities: a unified policy, risk, and audit layer; ERP and non-human identity (NHI) governance; Connector Studio; transactional segregation-of-duties (SoD) enforcement; and conversational AI.
Analyst urges buyers to look beyond functional coverage
Nitish Deshpande, Senior Analyst at KuppingerCole, said organizations should evaluate connector breadth, scalability, security, support services, and partner ecosystems alongside functional coverage. He also pointed to the ability of solutions to grow with increasing governance requirements.
Pathlock CEO ties the result to proof of control effectiveness
Pathlock CEO Damon Tompkins said customers need to understand how access is used and demonstrate that their controls work. He said the company will keep helping enterprises strengthen governance as digital transformation and AI adoption advance.
