San Francisco – September 03, 2026 -- Outmarket AI has launched an expanded Employee Benefits module designed to automate the full administrative workflow cycle for insurance brokerages, converting raw carrier documents, census files, and bills into structured, ready-to-use outputs.
Platform extracts data from carrier documents to eliminate manual VLOOKUPs and hand-formatting
The AI-native module allows agents to upload plan documents in any format—PDF, Word, or Excel—from any carrier to automatically build side-by-side plan comparisons covering medical, vision, dental, ancillary, and Rx tiers. Brokers can feed plan documents from up to 10 carriers alongside a census file to generate cost comparisons, run contribution scenarios, and calculate affordability.
Billing reconciliation tool flags discrepancies between carrier bills and enrollment data
The system automatically identifies coverage-tier mismatches, premium mismatches, volume discrepancies, and members present on a bill but missing from enrollment records, using intelligent name-matching to reduce false positives. A separate Census Formatter feature auto-fills any carrier's blank census template from a raw census file without manual reformatting, and can merge multiple raw files into one filled template.
Additional workflows cover Broker of Record letters and open enrollment guides
Users can upload plan documents and a sample AOR/BOR letter to auto-generate one filled letter per carrier identified in the documents. The platform also includes a census comparison tool for spotting enrollment changes between plan years, and an open enrollment guide builder using Outmarket's existing document builder technology.
Vishal Sankhla says the platform targets tedious tasks rather than a single boxed-in process
"Our platform is not a single boxed-in workflow but a broader toolset spanning commercial, personal lines, and benefits, built to remove the most manual and tedious tasks rather than replace one specific process,
