New Treemap and Gantt widgets consolidate portfolio reporting into shared dashboards
The release introduces a Treemap widget across Portfolio, Plan, Global Resource Plan, and Modeler dashboards, giving executives a proportional view of where work, cost, or capacity concentrates. A Table widget now supports an embedded Gantt view with independently configurable start, end, and progress fields, while Card widgets gain field-level color coding and Heatmaps add flexible axis sorting. A downloadable library of editable dashboard templates is designed to replace manual report-building with a standardized starting point.
Resource capacity data now sits alongside work assignments at the portfolio level
A new Resource Usage view displays work assignments at configurable time intervals across all work items in a plan. A resource capacity data source is now available at the Portfolio, Plan, and Global Resource Plan levels, removing the need for teams to manually reconcile capacity against workload.
Microsoft Project sync gains time-phased resource data and preserved dependencies
OnePlan now supports time-phased resource assignments during Microsoft Project schedule sync, carrying allocation across specific time periods rather than as a single total. Task-level constraint types and dates sync directly from Microsoft Project, external dependencies are preserved during sync, and organizations can synchronize resource-level cost tables with Microsoft Project on a per-file basis.
Azure DevOps updates now land within minutes under a new near real-time integration
A near real-time Azure DevOps integration pushes supported data updates into OnePlan automatically rather than waiting for the next scheduled sync cycle. The feature includes a dedicated administration screen for configuration at scale and allows opt-outs on a plan-by-plan basis; it requires an Enterprise license.
Automation coverage expands to summary-level fields and logged approval notes
Plan automations can now be triggered by work item summary-level fields in addition to detail-level items, widening the range of scenarios organizations can automate. Automation approval notes are now logged directly in work item comments, and the OnePlan Backup Utility now covers Global and Plan automations based on backup selections.
Additional updates include bulk assignment of material and cost resources onto work items in Work Plan, a Rollup Financial Plan view for comparing related plans, time-phased import support for work resources in Resource Plan, and modernized Resource Center navigation with new view management for Enterprise team pools. Plan Details pages can now be split into multiple dedicated pages while retaining existing business rules and custom fields.
