NTT DATA Consulting Launches SPARK AI Service With First Offering

Tokyo – October 31, 2026 -- NTT DATA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT CONSULTING, Inc. has launched SPARK (Strategic Perspectives on AI Research and Knowledge), an AI-powered consulting service for knowledge workers in strategy and other business roles, with its first offering, AI Foresight & Intelligence, available from launch day.

SPARK rolls out three offerings in phases, with one live today

The service has three components. AI Foresight & Intelligence is live. AI-era Knowledge Management and Agentic AI Adoption Practice are planned for later phases. Together they are meant to cover the path from tracking external change and using internal knowledge to redesigning operations around AI.

AI Foresight & Intelligence monitors markets, competitors, regulation and public policy

The offering tracks developments in AI, digital technologies, markets, competitors, industries, regulations and public policy. It analyzes the resulting opportunities, risks and potential business impact. AI-generated analysis is checked through expert interviews and field research, and decisions to accept, revise or reject the findings stay with humans.

The company says the service develops multiple future scenarios for each client, setting out the opportunities, risks and strategic options of each. A learning loop feeds decision outcomes and human feedback back into the process, from detection through decision-making.

Two planned offerings target enterprise knowledge and AI agent deployment

AI-era Knowledge Management will use AI agents to organize and structure knowledge, expertise and experience spread across an enterprise. The aim is institutional knowledge that AI and business operations can reuse.

Agentic AI Adoption Practice will assess where AI agents can create value and redesign business processes and decision-making accordingly. It will support proof-of-concept testing, implementation and enterprise-wide deployment, and will use AI to automate post-implementation monitoring and governance. The company has not given launch dates or pricing for either offering.
