BOSTON – October 29, 2026 -- New England Consulting Partners (NECP) has promoted Anastasia Chertova, 20, to Senior Business Analyst three years after she joined the turnaround advisory firm as a 17-year-old intern.
Chertova moved from cash flow modeling to client-facing presentations
Chertova joined NECP in 2023 and assisted with 13-week cash flow modeling, market research and report preparation. On at least three occasions she presented to the C-suite of NECP clients and to senior workout officers of major American banks, according to NECP founder Thomas V. Desmond, CPA, MST. Desmond said both audiences noted her poise and called her a "legitimate turnaround professional."
Chertova combines Kyiv, Vienna and Darden credentials with Deloitte and CFA experience
Chertova holds a bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She is pursuing a master's degree in leadership management at Lauder Business School in Vienna and has completed the accounting program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. She has also completed Deloitte's Audit School and competed in the CFA Research Challenge, and she is taking coursework in business analytics and data-driven decision making.
Chertova speaks English, German, Ukrainian and Russian, which NECP says lets her work with clients across different markets.
