MODE Global Earns EcoVadis Silver, Ranking in Top 25% Assessed

DALLAS – October 22, 2026 -- MODE Global, a third-party logistics provider, has received a Silver rating from EcoVadis, placing it among the top 25 percent of companies the sustainability ratings provider has assessed.

EcoVadis scorecard covers 21 indicators across four themes

The EcoVadis methodology draws on the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000. Its scorecard measures performance on 21 indicators grouped into environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

MODE Transportation, a MODE Global subsidiary, earned the same Silver rating in 2022. The 2023 result extends the recognition to the parent company.

MODE invests in carbon-calculation tools for shippers

MODE is an EPA Certified SmartWay Logistics Company Partner. In 2023 it invested heavily in technology that lets customers use carbon calculators to assess moving over-the-road shipments to more environmentally friendly transport modes. The company says its tools also cut fuel usage and costs through consolidation, smart routing and asset optimization.

NAVEX award adds governance credential

MODE also won the 2023 NAVEX Excellence in Ethics and Compliance Award, which recognizes compliance programs that protect stakeholders' interests.

CEO Lance Malesh called 2023 "a banner year in MODE's ESG journey," and said the company's ESG committee has embedded sustainability across its business strategy. Chief legal officer Sharon Johnson, the committee's executive sponsor, said the company plans to build on its progress in 2024.
