METAMO Brings Digital G-O-D Art-Tech Exhibition to Amsterdam with Mimaki Support

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – June 18, 2025 – METAMO Industries will present its forward-thinking group exhibition Digital G-O-D from June 20 to June 29, 2025, at Vrij Paleis in Amsterdam. Supported by digital print technology leader Mimaki Europe, the exhibition brings together 20 urban artists whose works reflect a powerful synthesis of cutting-edge printing techniques and socially engaged storytelling.

Where Art, Technology, and Collaboration Intersect

Following its 2020 debut at UltraSuperNew Gallery in Singapore, Digital G-O-D enters its second edition with a continued commitment to engaging local communities and exploring connections through contemporary art and technology. The lineup features a global roster including ANTZ (SG), Collin van der Sluijs (NL), Frankey (NL), Mossy Giant (NL), and Zedz (NL), among others.

Curated by humanoise (Taketo Kobayashi), the exhibition channels the collective's interdisciplinary strength, drawing from high-end visual effects, immersive media, and digital fabrication. The initiative is further shaped in partnership with Chinny Bond (curatorial) and Mama Magnet (storytelling), fostering collaboration across creative sectors.

“Art (at least) should be a space where we can unite in our differences. The world feels more divided than ever – right versus wrong, black versus white, artists who embrace AI and those who feel exploited by it. Yet throughout history, unification has been the core strategy of life’s evolution, while division has served the aims of conquerors.”

Experiential Engagement Through Advanced Print Media

A highlight of the exhibition is its integration of production technologies as creative mediums. Visitors will experience:

  • 30 intricately crafted 3D printed works, conceptualized by the participating artists and rendered into detailed models through the expertise of humanoise.
  • 27 innovative 2D print works, employing UV printing, sublimation, and digital plotters on diverse materials such as acrylic, canvas, and holographic paper—offering bold explorations of surface, texture, and visual dimension.

Prepare to immerse yourself in a diverse array of unique concepts that skilfully harness the essence of printing technologies pushing boundaries in the realm of art. Employing cutting-edge digital technologies such as 3DCG, 2D UV Printing, 3D printing, digital plotting and photogrammetry as their virtual “brush,” the artists create a dynamic atmosphere for audiences to encounter rising technological advancements, while also offering a critical lens towards the value of creation and autonomy in an increasingly homogenised and automated world.

Strategic Support from Mimaki and Broader Industry Implications

The exhibition’s alignment with Mimaki Europe represents a strong endorsement of digital print innovation as a medium for creative experimentation. The partnership signals the growing relevance of print technologies beyond traditional manufacturing and into immersive, future-facing storytelling experiences.

This collaboration enhances Mimaki’s visibility within the cultural sector, while providing artists with direct access to industrial-grade tools that expand the scope of what is possible in visual production.

Open Studio and Extended Programming

On June 25, an open studio event titled From human to Humanoise will feature a conversation between Taketo Kobayashi and Tulika Ahuja, offering professionals and audiences insight into the creative process and technical innovation behind the works.

Driving Industry Conversations Through Creative Innovation

METAMO’s Amsterdam edition of Digital G-O-D is a strategic demonstration of how digital tools, artistic autonomy, and community-centered storytelling can intersect to shape the next era of production and engagement. With applications across interior design, visual branding, and immersive installations, the exhibition speaks to an expanding ecosystem of industries seeking fresh ways to fuse aesthetics and innovation.
