KHS Showcases Holistic Beverage Line Innovation at drinktec 2025

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – June 18, 2025 – The KHS Group is set to present a broad portfolio of forward-looking technologies, digital tools, and system innovations at drinktec 2025, emphasizing its holistic approach to beverage production line efficiency. With targeted solutions for PET, glass, and cans, KHS underlines its strategic direction toward integrated systems, resource savings, and performance-oriented customer services.

Line Efficiency Elevated through Digitalization and Coaching

KHS will highlight its comprehensive line management and digital services, including established and enhanced solutions such as Innoline Basic Line Monitoring, Innoline Flex Control, and the KHS ConnectApp Guide. These offerings are part of a broader connectivity suite that includes cloud integration and secure OT network architectures for real-time access.

A key debut at drinktec is the company's practical coaching portfolio. This new service equips customers with actionable operational expertise to boost line output, complementing KHS’s software and training tools.

“KHS stands for progressive technologies and services that can be combined to create smart turnkey systems tailored to our customers’ individual requirements. They generate considerable added value when it comes to line efficiency, resource consumption and the machine footprint.”

KHS is also presenting its replacement program, using cold glue stations for standard labelers as a reference case. Additionally, it will showcase its spare parts service, which now includes 3D-printed components to improve lead times and reduce production interruptions.

PET Innovations Combine Sustainability and Compact Design

KHS will unveil the new InnoPET FreshSafe QuadBlock, which marks a significant milestone by integrating stretch blow molding, coating, filling, and labeling into one compact unit. This all-in-one approach simplifies operations and minimizes spatial requirements.

Also featured is a breakthrough in lightweight packaging: a 0.25-liter PET bottle weighing only 6.2 grams, manufactured entirely from rPET. The design meets functional and aesthetic demands while advancing the company’s circular economy objectives.

“This is where we’ll be presenting our customers with all new and further developments from KHS in an appropriate setting. With plenty of passion, heart and expertise, our employees have achieved really great things in the past few months,” Wetzel states.

New Systems for Glass Production

In the glass segment, KHS will introduce the Innoclean Cascade D bottle washer. Engineered for low media and energy usage, the system is designed for sustainability and hygiene in a reduced footprint. The Innopas SX tunnel pasteurizer will also be highlighted, focusing on improved resource consumption, hygiene, and process stability.

KHS continues its strategic collaboration with Tyrolon GmbH, a specialist in conveying systems. Together, they will present turnkey lines for PET and glass applications—another step toward tightly integrated solutions.

Turnkey Canning: Compact and Efficient

In the canning segment, KHS is reinforcing its position with a cooperative approach. Alongside Ferrum Packaging AG and H.F. Meyer Maschinenbau GmbH, the company will present the SmartCan Eco system. This next-generation filler/seamer block offers energy and media savings, automated settings, and rapid changeovers.

“The SmartCan Eco by KHS/Ferrum is just one example of this successful cooperation on an equal footing.”

The solution features a drastically reduced hygiene zone—by up to 93%—and is aimed at processors seeking compact, sustainable line solutions without compromising throughput or flexibility.

Global Strategy, Local Presence

As one of the leading global manufacturers of beverage filling and packaging systems, the KHS Group continues to expand its innovation footprint. With a 2024 turnover of €1.654 billion and operations across five continents, the company remains committed to delivering value through integrated, high-performance solutions.

KHS will be showcasing its full offering in Hall B4 at drinktec, Messe München, from September 15 to 19, 2025.
