InfiMotion E-Drives Power Nearly Every Geely Car at Paris Motor Show

Paris – – October 19, 2026 -- InfiMotion Technology's electric drive systems power nearly every vehicle on the Geely Auto stand at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, even though the Chinese supplier does not exhibit independently. Its e-drives also appear in Lynk & Co, Zeekr and Smart models. The show ran October 12 to 18 at the Paris Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center.

Geely stand hosts European debut of the Monjaro EM-i

The Geely stand also shows the EX2, EX5 and STARRAY EM-i. InfiMotion's newest products are additionally featured at Geely's UTAC roadshow in France, giving European media direct access to its next-generation e-drive portfolio.

Off-road dual-motor system delivers 2 x 4,500 N•m on the Geely K011

The system is the only locking dual-motor e-drive in its class, rated at 220 kW per motor. Its differential-lock controller stacks output onto one side to free a stuck vehicle, lifting per-wheel torque to 9,000 N•m, a 200% amplification. The unit is IPX8-rated after iceberg impact and submersion tests and is already in series production.

Portfolio spans 400V to 900V with a 30% weight cut

The TP501 900V co-axial dual motor drive uses a semi-solid die-cast magnesium alloy housing that cuts weight by 30%. The P600 Compact EDU, operating above 750V, reaches 92.4% CLTC efficiency through Mini-Pin winding and 0.2 mm ultra-thin silicon steel. Deep oil-cooling allows more than 100 consecutive full-throttle accelerations without degradation.

InfiMotion's 11-in-1 domain-controlled EDU, launched in 2024, powers the Geely Galaxy E5, described as China's top-exporting A-segment electric SUV.

InfiMotion ranks among China's top three motor and inverter suppliers

The ranking is by shipments in H1 2026. R&D is spread across Wuxi, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hangzhou and Gothenburg, with more than 1,000 engineers, including over 100 Swedish software specialists. Five smart manufacturing bases in China support supply to Europe and Malaysia.

The company's CNAS-certified testing center houses what it calls the world's first 30,000 rpm motor test bench. Validation covers -60°C to 140°C thermal cycling, 1,500-hour salt spray and 2,500-hour endurance runs.
