Dubai – September 7, 2026 -- International Company Oil & Gas Services & General Trading L.L.C. (ICOGT) has announced a new phase of international expansion targeting Latin America and North and West Africa, with Brazil identified as a primary market.
ICOGT restructures leadership under new CEO Igor V. Soglayevas
The Dubai-based group's strategic overhaul is being executed under the leadership of newly appointed CEO Igor V. Soglayevas, an international executive with experience in global business, strategic development and international markets. The initiative is being coordinated with the company's Board of Directors and senior management team.
Group consolidates operations into four core business lines
ICOGT is structuring its international platform around four strategic segments. The Energy and Fuels division covers international supply and trading of crude oil, LNG, diesel, biodiesel, gasoline, and other hydrocarbons, alongside marine fuel bunkering and storage terminals. A second unit focuses on fertilizers and petrochemicals, encompassing trading, supply chain development, storage and select value-added activities.
A third business line targets specialty and industrial chemicals, with specific emphasis on Brazil's infrastructure and industrial growth, including coating materials and construction chemicals. The fourth segment addresses strategic infrastructure and integrated natural gas distribution assets, spanning natural gas distribution and logistics, LNG trading and infrastructure, pipelines, and other strategic industrial and energy assets.
Company cites state-backed positioning for long-term growth
ICOGT stated the expansion reflects state-supported backing and an objective to build an integrated international platform combining global trade, industrial development, strategic infrastructure and long-term investment. The group positioned the move as aligning it for sustainable growth in some of the world's most dynamic markets, with Brazil and West and North African markets cited as immediate priorities for deployment across its four business lines.
