The solution applies end-to-end deduplication at a ratio of 72:1 — a figure Huawei describes as 20 percent higher than the industry benchmark. Higher deduplication means less physical capacity consumed per unit of protected data. That cuts procurement costs and reduces the volume transferred in cloud backup scenarios.
