YORK – October 30, 2026 -- HR HealthCare, a family-owned U.S. medical technology company, has established the HR HealthCare Foundation as a separate charitable organization to formalize its giving across three defined focus areas.
The York, Pennsylvania-based company develops, manufactures and supplies healthcare products with integrated technology and support services. The Foundation gives its existing charitable activity a dedicated structure, with the stated aim of expanding support over time.
Foundation targets three funding areas: Dreams, Healthcare Initiatives and Community Initiatives
The "Dreams" program will create experiences for individuals living with life-altering health conditions and disabilities, and for their families.
Under "Healthcare Initiatives," the Foundation will back nonprofit organizations and healthcare programs that advance research, innovation and patient-centered care in areas aligned with HR HealthCare's focus.
"Community Initiatives" will fund local charitable organizations and community programs that provide services, assistance and outreach to individuals and families in need.
CEO Colby Wiesman says the Foundation is meant to scale giving
Colby Wiesman, President and CEO of HR HealthCare, said the Foundation builds on the company's existing commitment and gives it a way to grow that giving "thoughtfully." He said the goal is to reach more people while staying attentive to individual needs.
Foundation funds through grants and partnerships and is already taking requests
