Hoymiles Launches HiOne Home Battery in Canada, Debuts HoyUltra 261A

Toronto – October 21, 2026 -- Hoymiles has launched its HiOne all-in-one residential energy storage system in Canada and shown its HoyUltra 261A commercial and industrial (C&I) storage system in North America for the first time. Both debuts took place at Electricity Transformation Canada (ETC) 2026 in Toronto.

HiOne combines inverter, battery and EMS in a unit installable in 15 minutes

The residential system integrates the inverter, battery system and energy management system (EMS) in a single unit. Installation can take as little as 15 minutes. HiOne has four MPPTs and a maximum input current of 20A, built for varied roof orientations and shading. Seamless backup switching keeps essential household loads running during grid outages.

HiOne passes UL 9540A thermal runaway propagation test

HiOne carries TÜV and VDE safety certification and has achieved UL 9540A compliance. In the system-level propagation test, thermal runaway stayed confined to the triggered cell. It did not spread through the module, and no fire was observed.

HoyUltra 261A adapts liquid cooling to Canadian winters

The C&I system integrates battery storage, power conversion, liquid cooling and intelligent controls. Its liquid-cooling system adjusts to ambient temperature, power output and system status, a design aimed at Canada's cold winters and wide seasonal swings. Charge and discharge scheduling supports peak shaving and off-peak charging, where applicable, to reduce business electricity costs.

Microinverter lines HMS and HMT shown alongside storage

Hoymiles also displayed its HMS single-phase and HMT three-phase microinverter series. Both offer module-level MPPT and a low-voltage DC architecture.

The company met installers and industry partners from across North America at the event.
