HashKey Cloud to Integrate Babylon's Trustless Bitcoin Vaults

Singapore – October 07, 2026 -- Babylon Labs and HashKey Cloud announced an integration of Babylon's Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV), enabling native Bitcoin-backed borrowing and yield services for institutional clients without wrapping, bridging, or centralized intermediaries.

TBV connects native Bitcoin to Ethereum lending liquidity via Aave v4

The integration allows Bitcoin holders to use native Bitcoin as collateral for borrowing through Aave v4, giving access to stablecoins and other supported assets while retaining title to the underlying asset. HashKey clients will be able to borrow against native Bitcoin and deploy the proceeds into yield strategies.

HashKey Cloud expands its existing operational role in the Babylon ecosystem

The move builds on HashKey Cloud's prior involvement with Babylon. Fisher Yu, Co-founder of Babylon, said institutions in Asia want counterparties with regulatory status and an operating track record, noting that HashKey Group offers both. He added that HashKey Cloud will take on a core operational role in TBV and help drive Babylon's adoption across Asia.

HashKey OnChain frames the deal as institutional Bitcoin integration

Leo Li, CEO of HashKey OnChain, described the partnership as a step toward integrating Bitcoin into the institutional financial system, turning native Bitcoin into a productive asset that can be borrowed and deployed for institutional clients.

Native Bitcoin-backed borrowing powered by TBV is currently live on the Aave v4 testnet. Further details on integration timing and the scope of the partnership will be disclosed in the coming months.
