HONG KONG – November 01, 2026 -- HashKey On-Chain and RD Technologies will deploy the RDUSD US dollar stablecoin on HSK Chain, an institutional-grade Ethereum Layer 2 network, as the first step of a partnership targeting cross-border trade, corporate payments and institutional finance.
The collaboration will span digital asset on-chain trading, settlement, treasury management and asset tokenization. The aim is to extend RDUSD beyond digital asset trading into real-world business use.
Anchorage Digital Bank N.A. issues RDUSD under GENIUS Act design
RDUSD is supported by RD Technologies and issued by Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., described in the release as the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the US. The stablecoin is designed to comply with the US GENIUS Act regulatory framework.
HSK Chain hosts more than 200 projects and over US$300 million in on-chain RWA
HSK Chain's ecosystem includes over 200 projects. Its on-chain real-world asset (RWA) base exceeds US$300 million, spanning money market funds, ETFs and precious metals. The network also has a CeDeFi partnership with Morpho to explore institutional fund onboarding and on-chain yield.
After launch, the partners plan to integrate RDUSD into on-chain lending, trading, RWA subscriptions and settlement. HSK Chain will provide technical development support for deployment and multi-platform integration.
RDUSD to be rolled out across three HashKey platforms
On the HashKey Trading Portal (HTP), RDUSD will settle trades of tokenized RWA products. On the HashKey On-Chain Trade Finance Platform, it is expected to provide 24/7 on-chain clearing and settlement for cross-border import and export companies. Combined with tokenized trade assets such as electronic bills of lading, it would support smart contract-driven Delivery vs. Payment (DvP). Licensed financial institutions could also use it for trade-financing disbursements and repayments.
On the HashKey Settlement Platform (HSP), the companies will explore integrating RDUSD into settlement protocols. The aim is to offer global enterprises and cross-border payment providers payment, collection, settlement, cash pooling and disbursement support. The release also cites capacity for automated AI agent payments.
Rachel Qiu, Head of Business Development at HashKey Group and COO of HashKey On-Chain Business Group, said the HSK Chain deployment "marks the first step in our collaboration." Rita Liu, CEO of RD Technologies, said the companies would combine strengths in cross-border payments and digital assets to serve corporate demand.
RD Technologies has raised over US$90 million, including from HashKey Group
RD Technologies is a Hong Kong-based fintech group and one of the first participants in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Stablecoin Issuer Sandbox. It has raised more than US$90 million in total funding. Investors include HashKey Group, HSG (Sequoia China), ZA Global, Solana Foundation, Guotai Junan International and Aptos Labs.
The release states that the described scenarios are potential application directions and technical exploration. Implementation depends on technical conditions, market demand, collaboration arrangements and regulatory requirements.
