Beijing – September 08, 2026 -- H3C deployed Wi-Fi 7 networking that supported more than 2,000 humanoid robots connecting simultaneously at the second World Humanoid Robot Games, held August 15-17 in Beijing with 666 teams from 16 countries and 2,056 robots competing.

A humanoid robot completed the 100-meter sprint in 9.39 seconds during the event's opening night, surpassing the human world record of 9.58 seconds.

H3C's WA7638 access point delivers 18.444 Gbps to handle mass robot connectivity

China Unicom, the event's official communications service provider, worked with H3C to deploy the flagship Wi-Fi 7 AP WA7638 across competition venues. The access point delivers up to 18.444 Gbps bandwidth and uses Multi-Link Operation to enable high-speed transmission of control commands and real-time competition data for more than 2,000 simultaneously connected robots. H3C added dual-uplink redundancy, optimized AP placement and wireless parameters, and applied network isolation to limit interference between teams and competition areas.

AI-powered O&M platform detects over 50 robot connectivity issue types

H3C integrated AI-powered intelligent operations and maintenance into its cloud-based network management platform for continuous monitoring and rapid troubleshooting. The system predicts robot movement trajectories to enable millisecond-level seamless roaming handovers, provides real-time diagnostics identifying more than 50 types of connectivity issues specific to humanoid robots, and dynamically adjusts channels, transmit power, and bandwidth to counter interference from changing device and crowd density.

Deployment extends H3C's track record from Beijing 2008 to Harbin 2025

H3C has previously supported connectivity for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, and the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin.
