Vancouver – October 13, 2026 -- GreenCore Solutions Corp. (GSC) has released gtinfetch.ai, a GTIN resolver that lets AI agents check any of 84 million barcodes in a single call, which the company describes as the largest open resolver on the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
GreenCore targets grocery agentic commerce in 20 countries
The service runs on Microsoft Azure and the Cloudflare edge and answers in milliseconds from wherever the agent sits. GSC built it for retail grocery agentic commerce transactions at scale across 20 countries.
GSC says $2 trillion of annual grocery procurement is about to move through AI agents, with every order tied to a GTIN. In its view, agentic procurement drifts without a second check. gtinfetch confirms the GTIN before the order is placed, then settles payment in the same call.
Agents pay in USDC and Open USD on the x402 protocol
Payment runs on x402 in USDC and Open USD on Base. An agent sends a request, is told what it owes, pays and receives the result. GSC says Open USD was set in September 2026 with Visa, Mastercard and Stripe behind it. The buying, listing, placement and paying agents then all act on the same product.
Gartner and Juniper forecasts frame the addressable market
GSC cites Gartner's Strategic Predictions for 2026: by 2028, 90% of B2B buying will be AI-agent intermediated, pushing more than $15 trillion of B2B spend through AI agent exchanges. It also cites Juniper Research, which puts agentic commerce transaction value at $8 billion in 2026 and $3.5 trillion by 2031.
GSC positions gtinfetch as the product-identity layer under those transactions. Target users include:
- grocery retailers, makers, private label and retail media
- AI labs and agent frameworks building commerce agents
- agentic checkout, payment and marketplace platforms
- procurement and supply-chain suites shipping buying agents
CEO Matthew Keddy said agentic orders could drift between the barcode and the order. He described gtinfetch as the resolver every buying agent can call first, so both counterparties to a GTIN know their transaction. GSC brands this "know your transactions" (KYT).
Julia Turley, a GSC board director and former Walmart Director of Merchandising, said the need to know exactly which product is being bought, sold or promoted does not change with AI agents. What changes, she said, is the speed and scale.
Single fetch_gtin tool is listed on Official MCP Registry and Azure API Center
The service exposes one tool, fetch_gtin, and an Agent-to-Agent (A2A) card at gtinfetch.ai. It is listed on the Official MCP Registry as ai.gtinfetch/gtinfetch and on the Microsoft Azure API Center. GSC says it attaches on the stock client paths of Amazon, Microsoft and Google.
