Golden Isles Draws $70M Investment, 91 Jobs in FY2026

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – September 05, 2026 -- The Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) facilitated $70 million in new capital investment and 91 new jobs in Brunswick and Glynn County during fiscal year 2026, according to the organization's newly released Year in Review.

New capital flows into Project Parrot and Hillpointe developments

The $70 million investment total stemmed from Project Parrot, continued build-out at Hillpointe, and other business activity across the county. GIDA also supported the expansion of five existing employers: Troy Acoustics, Jered, Quaker City Plating, Brewer Technologies, and RSW.

Workforce outreach engages 6,000 people through Keep Glynn Running program

GIDA's Keep Glynn Running workforce initiatives reached approximately 6,000 educators, students, parents, and community members during the fiscal year, part of a broader strategy to help local employers recruit and retain talent.

Digital engagement jumps as site-selector interest grows

Traffic to GIDA's available-property web pages rose 144%, while digital engagement across platforms increased 38%, boosting visibility of Glynn County to prospective businesses and site selectors. Consultant- and broker-driven project opportunities accounted for 38% of total activity, exceeding GIDA's internal target and reflecting the authority's national business recruitment relationships.

Industrial infrastructure advances at Mallard Park and Breakbulk Logistics site

GIDA progressed development at Mallard Industrial Park to expand future industrial capacity and completed construction of a new industrial entrance serving the Georgia Breakbulk Logistics Park. The authority also maintained partnerships with major regional employers including GP Cellulose, King and Prince Seafood, Gulfstream, Rich Products, and International Auto Processing.

Ryan Moore, President & CEO of GIDA, said the fiscal year focused on strengthening existing businesses in Glynn County while attracting new investment and preparing sites for future opportunities.
