Greenville, S.C. – October 29, 2026 -- Fort Hill LogiX, a patent-pending construction payment application review platform, now operates as a separate company from Fort Hill Associates. It is open to capital-project owners and the advisory firms that serve them, including competitors of its parent.
LogiX isolates customer data from Fort Hill Associates
The separation addresses a data-custody question that other firms raised when they saw the platform: whether submitting pay apps meant handing documents to a competitor. LogiX runs with separate staff access controls and tenant-level data isolation. Fort Hill Associates has no visibility into or access to other customers' data, and LogiX does not use owner data to train AI models.
Platform tests every line item against the executed contract
LogiX evaluates payment application information against the owner's contract and submitted supporting records. Each reported observation is linked back to its source document. AI handles reading and extraction, defined procedures run contractual and computational testing, and professional judgment stays with the reviewer and owner.
The built-in testing procedures draw on Fort Hill's construction audit experience since 2006, but organizations can configure their own methodology. Founder Ruhtab Sahota, a Certified Construction Auditor, said users get a full line-by-line review in minutes instead of a sampled review over days.
Customers can run reviews themselves or have LogiX run them
Teams with their own reviewers operate the platform in-house under their own methodology. Teams without reviewers can have LogiX run the review, with a Certified Construction Auditor signing off each pay app review. In both models the owner decides what to pay, and LogiX never holds a payment.
Outside advisory firms have piloted the platform
Multiple advisory firms outside Fort Hill have already piloted LogiX. It targets owner-side construction and internal audit teams, plus the firms that advise them. Fort Hill Associates remains the platform's first customer, according to Co-Founder Curt Plyler.
LogiX won two categories in BUILD Magazine's 2026 Construction and Engineering Awards, including Most Innovative Construction Audit Platform.
