Boone, Iowa – September 05, 2026 -- AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AGCO) launched the Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor and the Fendt Momentum 80-Foot Planter globally at the 2026 Farm Progress Show, marking Fendt's first-ever global tractor debut staged in the United States. The company also unveiled the North American debut of the Fendt 300 Vario Gen5 line, expanding its full-line portfolio across high-horsepower, planting and compact-tractor segments.
Fendt stages global tractor launch in U.S. for the first time
Stefan Caspari, Senior Vice President of Customer Success & North American Ag at AGCO, said hosting the launch in the U.S. reflects the company's regional investment strategy, noting that North American farmers prioritize power, productivity, efficiency and total cost of ownership.
1100 Vario MT Gen2 becomes Fendt's most powerful VarioDrive tractor
The 1100 Vario MT Gen2 features a reinforced transmission to handle a horsepower boost, making it the top-of-range model equipped with Fendt's VarioDrive transmission. The tractor pairs VarioDrive with the Fendt iD low-speed concept and SmartRide suspension, while a new FendtONE cab and passive air filter cleaning system aim to cut maintenance in harsh field conditions. Every unit ships with Gold Star Customer Care covering three years or 3,000 hours of warranty and scheduled maintenance.
Momentum 32R30 becomes largest planter in Fendt's lineup
The new Momentum 80-Foot, 32-Row Planter with 30-inch spacing (32R30) carries standard 130-bushel seed tanks and 1,000-gallon fertilizer tanks to reduce tendering frequency for large-scale operations. It integrates Fendt's SmartFrame technology, factory-installed Precision Planting systems, optional Load Logic weight management and a new five-section Vertically Contouring Toolbar. Gold Star Customer Care on the planter covers three years or 16,000 acres, whichever comes first.
300 Vario Gen5 adds five models with 113-152 horsepower
The Gen5 compact line introduces five new models including the 310 Vario, delivering 113-152 horsepower with DynamicPerformance, now standard across the series to supply an additional 10 horsepower for auxiliary loads such as air conditioning. Updates include a new Cargo and Cargo Profi front loader generation with independent hydraulic valves, GroundVision night lighting, a redesigned hood with daytime running lights and a new swivel seat.
Deliveries begin 2027 as orders open this fall
The 1100 Vario MT Gen2 and 300 Vario Gen5 are available for order now, with first deliveries beginning in 2027. The Momentum 80-Foot Planter opens to limited orders in fall 2026, with deliveries slated for spring 2027. AGCO also confirmed a new 60 kph (40 mph) transport option arriving in late 2026, alongside first-time Farm Progress Show appearances of the 500 Vario Gen4 and 800 Vario Gen5.
