Fort Lauderdale – October 28, 2026 -- Evolver DFR, a brand of XTI Aerospace (NASDAQ: XTIA) powered by its Drone Nerds division, has launched a Drone as First Responder (DFR) program that lets police, fire and emergency agencies buy a multi-year, multi-location system on a single purchase order with no recurring subscription fees for the contracted solution.
Evolver DFR bundles Parrot aircraft, DBOX dock and SkyfireAI software into one system
The package integrates the Parrot ANAFI UKR GOV aircraft, the DBOX PRT autonomous docking station and SkyfireAI's FlyAura public safety software. Within minutes of a call, the system delivers real-time aerial video and data to dispatchers and commanders.
The ANAFI UKR GOV is Blue UAS approved. It carries wide and telephoto cameras with 35x zoom and a 640 thermal sensor, uses AES-256 encryption on its radio links and is FIPS 140-2 compliant.
The DBOX PRT is a climate-controlled dock built specifically for the aircraft. It recharges the drone between flights and operates in heat, cold and rain.
FlyAura lets authorized users fly missions, stream live video and share a common operating picture from a web browser. It integrates with TAK and keeps a searchable record of every flight.
Single purchase order replaces the subscription model used in traditional DFR offerings
Evolver DFR contrasts its pricing with traditional DFR offerings built around ongoing subscriptions. Agencies purchase a complete multi-year program covering multiple locations, which the company says gives departments predictable budgets and simpler procurement. It also allows coverage to expand while long-term costs stay under control.
Every program includes Always Flying by Drone Nerds, which provides expedited replacement aircraft when equipment is damaged. The service also covers dedicated technical support, maintenance resources and operational help.
Solution team covers FAA approvals, including BVLOS authorizations, from needs assessment to training
The solution team guides each agency through needs assessment, coverage planning, site selection, installation, system integration and training. It also supports agencies through FAA approval processes, including Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) authorizations.
"Launching a DFR program involves more than purchasing a drone," said Jeremy Schneiderman, Interim CEO of XTI Aerospace and CEO of Drone Nerds.
The workflow provides automated dispatch, remote operations, live video streaming, advanced imaging and real-time information sharing. Incident commanders can assess threats earlier and avoid unnecessary deployments before responders arrive on scene.
SkyfireAI offers agencies a choice between running programs themselves or outsourcing operations
SkyfireAI CEO Don Mathis said FlyAura combines AI-assisted mission planning, remote flight operations and real-time intelligence in one platform. Agencies can manage their own programs or rely on SkyfireAI's team to operate them.
DBOX CEO Dr. Linas Gelazanskas said the DBOX PRT was engineered around the ANAFI UKR so the two work as one system in any weather. Parrot's Chris Roberts, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, described the result as a streamlined platform built specifically for public safety.
Evolver DFR debuts at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition in Orlando, running October 24-26 at Booth 2761. SkyfireAI and Drone Nerds representatives will attend.
