Washington – – September 21, 2026 -- Elementl Power, an independent developer of utility-scale nuclear power projects, has appointed Robey Clark as senior vice president of Projects to oversee delivery of the company's 5-gigawatt (GW) development portfolio.
Clark takes charge of Elementl's 5 GW nuclear pipeline
Clark will hold executive oversight of Elementl's project management activities, coordinating closely with the company's Licensing and Regulatory Affairs team. His mandate covers the company's current 5 GW portfolio, including a 1.8 GW strategic development arrangement with Google and a 1.5 GW small modular reactor (SMR) project under active development in southeast Ohio. He will report to Elementl's Chief Projects Officer, Shawn Hughes.
Clark brings Kairos Power, BCG and U.S. Navy submarine reactor experience
Clark most recently served as director of Strategic Initiatives at Kairos Power, an engineering developer of advanced nuclear reactors. He was previously a partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on oil and gas capital project cost and schedule delivery. As a U.S. Navy submarine force veteran, Clark oversaw the safe operation and maintenance of nuclear reactors, qualified as an Engineer Officer, and served as a Naval Reactors instructor.

Clark holds MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business
Clark earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College in Maine.
