Haifa – October 19, 2026 -- Elbit Systems Ltd. has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $235 million to supply EXTRA-MR rockets and PULS rocket artillery systems to an unnamed European customer, to be performed over three years.
Government-to-government deal links Israeli and European defense ministries
The award falls under a government-to-government agreement between the Israel Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Defense of the customer country. The source does not name the buyer.
Package covers medium-range rockets, PULS launchers and logistics support
Elbit will supply the medium-range variant of its EXTRA supersonic rocket system. The scope also includes Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS) launchers, additional rocket-artillery-related platforms and integrated logistics support.
EXTRA-MR engages high-value targets at up to 80 km
EXTRA-MR is a precision-guided rocket munition designed for mid-range operational scenarios. It is fully compatible with PULS and existing C4I architectures, which Elbit describes as a flexible, cost-effective capability across a broad range of mission profiles.
Elbit cites growing European and NATO demand
President and CEO Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis said the award reflects growing international demand for the company's rocket and launcher capabilities. He added that PULS has been selected by a growing number of customers worldwide, including European and NATO member states.
Elbit reported revenues of $2,287.1 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026, and an order backlog of $32.0 billion as of that date.
