NEW YORK – October 29, 2026 -- Experience commerce platform Easol has raised a $30 million Series A extension, bringing its total funding to $60 million. The round combines $20 million in equity with a $10 million debt facility from Viola Credit.
The equity investors are Y Combinator, Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital and Eight Roads.
Easol has served 2.8 million guests in 135 countries so far in 2026
Ben and Lisa Simpson, co-founders of Rise Festival, launched Easol in 2021. The platform serves festivals, wellness retreats, sports operators and location-based entertainment venues, with offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. Customers include Coachella, Stagecoach, Rapha, Boots in the Park, Defected, State of Play Hospitality, Bingo Loco and Swingers - The Home of Revelry.
Funding underwrote Teammates, an AI agent tool built into the booking platform
Easol used the capital to develop Teammates, which lets customers build AI agents that run inside the platform. The agents use live business data to handle support, sales and operations. Easol runs bookings, payments, marketing, support and guest data through one connected system.
The agents operate behind the single sign-on, audit logs, payments compliance and data residency controls customers already use. Easol says it has never sold customer data, unlike many traditional marketplaces, ticketing companies and booking platforms.
Early users recovered revenue in seconds that previously took days
One customer's Teammates agent found hundreds of guests with bookings but no upsells, a revenue opportunity of about $50,000. It also produced the customer list and the outreach to pursue it.
Another business identified $28,000 of recoverable payments in seconds, a task that previously took two days.
Eve Szlendak, Head of Sales at State of Play Hospitality UK, said she used to spend up to three days building reports. She now gets the information she needs instantly from dashboards.
Operators face tighter margins while 93% of fans prefer real experiences
Easol says experience businesses face rising costs and tighter margins despite growing consumer demand. Live Nation's Return To Real survey found that 93% of fans crave real experiences over digital ones. It also found that 80% would rather spend on experiences than on things.
CEO Ben Simpson said experience businesses that adopt AI will gain a transformative competitive advantage. He said they can look after every guest while their teams focus on customer relationships.
