Ashburn, Va. – September 19, 2026 -- DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) has appointed Jonathan Nikols as President of the Americas Market, putting him in charge of sales across North America, Central America and South America.
Nikols reports directly to DXC Technology President Paul Taylor
The move places one of DXC's largest regions under a sales leader with more than 25 years of experience running technology commercial organizations. Taylor said the appointment aims to sharpen sales execution, improve customer coverage, accelerate AI-driven growth and add commercial discipline across the Americas territory.
Nikols joins from Mobile Communications America, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer
In that role he was accountable for bookings across the company's public safety and enterprise customer portfolio. He previously spent time as Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise Sales at Verizon Business, leading enterprise sales teams through a period of growth. Nikols is a four-time Technology Services Industry Association Star Award winner and a member of the Forbes Business Development Council.
Rick Ruiz shifts from interim Americas leadership to a regional reporting role
Ruiz, who had provided interim leadership for the Americas market, will continue as senior leader of DXC's U.S. Public Sector and Canada territories, now reporting to Nikols.
Taylor said Nikols' experience building large-scale technology sales organizations would help DXC improve execution, deepen customer relationships, strengthen pipeline management and help customers deploy AI for measurable business outcomes. Nikols said his focus would be on sharper sales coverage, speed and collaboration to help customers meet modernization targets and adopt AI.
