DoGo Power Wins Brazil Innovation Award for Grid-Forming Storage Tech

São Paulo, Brazil -- September 01, 2026 -- DoGo Power received the Top Innovation Award Brazil from EUPD Research for its in-house-developed 4S architecture, announced during Intersolar South America 2026, held in São Paulo from August 25 to 27. The energy storage company joined a roundtable discussion co-hosted by EUPD Research and Intersolar focused on grid stabilization technologies and next-generation power systems. DoGo Power presented its Software-Defined Energy architecture, built to integrate energy management, power management, power conversion, and battery management functions into a single system.

DoGo Power Says Storage Must Do More Than Charge and Discharge

During the roundtable, DoGo Power argued that as renewable energy penetration rises, storage systems can no longer function as passive assets that simply absorb and release electricity. The company described energy storage as critical infrastructure that must actively support grid operations and reinforce system-wide resilience as solar and wind capacity expands across Latin American grids.

Four Systems Merge Into One Platform Under SDE Architecture

DoGo Power's Software-Defined Energy architecture combines four subsystems that typically operate separately: the energy management system, the power management system, the power conversion system, and the battery management system. The company called this integration a first for the sector, positioning grid-forming storage as coordinated infrastructure rather than a single-function battery asset. DoGo Power said the architecture targets stability, efficiency, and cost performance specifically for grids where renewable generation dominates supply.

EUPD Research Names 4S Architecture Top Innovation in Brazil

EUPD Research awarded DoGo Power the Top Innovation Award Brazil for the 4S architecture, a technology the company developed entirely in-house. The recognition marks a repeat honor for DoGo Power's technical work and follows the company's expanding presence in the Latin American energy storage market. DoGo Power framed the award as confirmation of its growing influence in the region's storage sector.

DoGo Power stated its long-term goal centers on building a new generation of power grids through coordinated intelligence linking generation sources, the grid itself, electricity demand, and storage assets. The company described its mission as advancing this source-grid-load-storage coordination model across markets where renewable energy adoption continues to accelerate.
