Dublin – October 07, 2026 -- Devexperts, a financial technology provider whose platforms serve more than 20 million traders daily, has appointed Rainer Fuchsluger as Global Group Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Fuchsluger succeeds Ben Hurley ahead of company's 25th anniversary
The move follows the departure of Ben Hurley, who spent more than four years at Devexperts, including the past two as CEO. Fuchsluger takes the helm as the privately held company approaches its 25th anniversary in 2027, operating more than 800 employees across 10 offices worldwide and serving hundreds of capital markets clients.
New CEO brings 25 years of leadership from LSEG, Wolters Kluwer, SS&C and Thomson Reuters
Fuchsluger's career spans financial software, market data, exchange technology and market infrastructure, with roles across London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Switzerland. At Wolters Kluwer he held the title of Global Head of Strategic Planning & Business Development and previously served as CEO/Managing Director for Asia Pacific Finance, Risk & Regulatory Reporting. He also sat on Wolters Kluwer's Global Sustainability Governance Board.
Devexperts has AI embedded in more than half its software development pipeline
Fuchsluger's mandate centers on extending the company's value chain across the full investment and trade lifecycle, deploying cloud computing and AI across its DXtrade, dxFeed and Devexa product lines. Michael Babushkin, Founder of Devexperts, said Fuchsluger's track record scaling technology businesses across major financial centers would support the company's international growth ambitions.
Devexperts to launch global anniversary programme in 2027 under new leadership
Fuchsluger said his priority is staying close to clients -- including banks, brokerages, exchanges and wealth managers -- as capital markets demand trusted data, resilient infrastructure and accelerating AI adoption. Next year, Devexperts will mark its quarter-century milestone with a global programme led by Fuchsluger, outlining the company's forward strategy.
