San Francisco – September 14, 2026 -- Dashverse's AI filmmaking agent Frameo scored 88.7 out of 100 in an independent human evaluation, finishing nearly 20 points ahead of the second-placed system among eight AI video agents tested.
Frameo beats Runway, Luma and Kling in 800-video evaluation
The benchmark, Arc v1.0 Movie, was published by Physion Labs and compared Frameo against Runway Agent 2.0, Luma Creative Agents, Kling Canvas Agent, Invideo Agent One and four other AI filmmaking agents. Evaluators reviewed 800 videos generated from 100 prompts, scoring each system across 16 metrics covering narrative coherence, cinematic language and production quality. Frameo ranked first on 13 of the 16 metrics, including all eight human-preference categories.
Physion Labs adds a fourth reviewer after Frameo's lead surprises evaluators
Physion Labs Founder and CEO Qin Zhang said the size of the gap prompted a second validation round with an additional expert reviewer before publishing results. The follow-up review confirmed the original scores, with Frameo remaining meaningfully ahead of every other agent tested.
Frameo was built for paid short dramas, not benchmark competitions
Dashverse Co-Founder and CTO Soumyadeep Mukherjee said Frameo was developed as the internal production system for the company's AI short dramas, which consumers pay to watch, rather than as a benchmark-optimized tool. He said the result has drawn interest from studios, brands and creators exploring the system for advertising and film projects.
Dashverse expands Frameo into film, television and advertising production
Following the benchmark result, Dashverse said it will extend Frameo's use beyond short dramas into film, television and marketing content, working with studios, OTT platforms and brands. The company plans to pair Frameo with its network of trained artists through its Forward Deployed Artist model. Dashverse CEO Sanidhya Narain said the benchmark confirmed that the system built to run the company's own shows now ranks among the strongest AI filmmaking systems tested.
