Cvi Wins Air Force Contract for Tinker AFB Maintenance Stands

Prineville, Oregon – October 12, 2026 -- Cv International, Inc. (Cvi) has won a U.S. Air Force contract to design, fabricate, test and install a modular maintenance work stand system at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The system will support the 76th Aircraft Maintenance Group's Program Depot Maintenance mission, with the aim of speeding aircraft servicing and improving mission-capable rates. The company did not disclose a contract value.

New stands will be interchangeable with existing Tinker equipment

The system will be compatible and interchangeable with current maintenance stand sets, including the Conect/Crown and Staircase Stands. Design features include electrically powered height adjustment, recessed hardware and collapsible engine stand railings. Integrated electrical power, compressed air and lighting will run throughout each stand.

Cvi must deliver a full technical data package

Cvi will field-verify existing equipment and configurations. It will then produce the engineering drawings, CAD models and manufacturing documentation needed for fabrication, assembly and future stand sets.

CEO Dan Warden said the project is about equipment that fits an existing maintenance environment and "increases maintenance worker efficiency."

Certifications and past performance backed the winning proposal

Cvi's proposal cited Licensed Professional Engineer documentation, ISO 9001:2015 certification, AWS welding certifications and past performance on aircraft maintenance stands and fall-protection equipment. The company cites more than four decades of experience in engineering, design and ground support equipment.

Cvi will carry out the work under the contract requirements and its ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System.
