S-Transistors Raises €2.6M to Build Superconducting Transistors for Quantum Computers
ESPOO, Finland -- September 01, 2026 -- S-Transistors, a startup spun out of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, has raised €2.6 million in pre-seed funding to commercialize a new class of superconducting transistors for controlling large-scale quantum computers. Lifeline Ventures led the round, joined by an angel investor, the company announced on Aug. 31, 2026. The capital will fund prototype development for cryogenic signal control, a dedicated cryogenic laboratory, and a manufacturing pilot line for the company's superconducting integrated circuits.
