DAZN Names COO, CFO, Names Waterman Chief Business Officer
LONDON – September 16, 2026 -- DAZN has named Patrick Delany as Chief Operating Officer and hired Alex Gersh as Chief Financial Officer, while shifting outgoing CFO Darren Waterman into a newly created Chief Business Officer role, the sports streaming platform announced. All three executives report directly to Group CEO Shay Segev, effective immediately.
Delany takes end-to-end control of trading performance
Delany, previously CEO of Foxtel Group since 2018 and formerly CEO of Fox Sports Australia, will oversee DAZN's day-to-day operational businesses, including pricing and packaging, rights renewals, content production, and advertising and sponsorship. He led the integration of Foxtel into DAZN following its acquisition, creating DAZN Australia, a unit whose products reach one in every two Australian homes. He is based in London.
