Reno, Nev. – September 14, 2026 -- The U.S. Department of Energy awarded approximately US$2.7 billion in contracts in January 2026 to expand domestic low-enriched and high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) capacity, cementing the federal government's role as the sector's largest customer, lender and permitting authority in one move.

Bethesda, Md. – September 13, 2026 -- Centrus Energy Corp. [NYSE: LEU] has signed a definitive multi-year contract to supply high-assay, low-enriched uranium (HALEU) to Radiant, adding a new domestic fuel customer as deliveries are set to begin before the end of the decade.

Contract includes prepayments to fund Centrus enrichment build-out

The agreement adds Radiant to Centrus' HALEU customer backlog and includes prepayments to Centrus that will support the company's domestic commercial enrichment capacity program. The fuel will supply multiple Kaleidos microreactors as Radiant scales from its first test unit toward commercial and national security deployments.
