LOS ANGELES – October 21, 2026 -- Cineverse (Nasdaq: CNVS) and Witz Comedy Network have launched The Ed Bassmaster Channel on Vizio WatchFree+, moving a YouTube creator with more than 2.8 million subscribers onto a streaming platform with new weekly episodes and over 100 episodes of library content.
Weekly Ed Bassmaster Show episodes anchor the channel lineup
The channel carries Witz Comedy Network's The Ed Bassmaster Show, which delivers new weekly episodes of pranks, characters and interviews with Bassmaster's collaborators. Guests include Steve-O, Trailer Trash Tammy, Jen Smith, Andy Molinakis and Paige Ginn, with more to be announced.
Sketches from recurring characters Always Teste, Mumbles, Chip Diamond, Skippy and Emilio also feature in the lineup.
Witz supplies exclusive library content and creator programming
Witz Comedy Network will provide the channel with exclusive content from its library and from Bassmaster's collaborators. Founding partner Cris Italia said the plan includes showcasing the next generation of creators, adding new characters, traveling on the road with Bassmaster and featuring his live standup shows.
Witz describes itself as a digital studio producing for its fast channel, an AVOD/SVOD library and a podcast platform. Its library is distributed on Amazon, LG, Xumo and Plex, and its fast channel is available on most platforms.
YouTube audience of 2.8 million becomes the distribution base
Bassmaster launched his YouTube channel in 2006 and has accumulated hundreds of millions of views. He previously fronted The Ed Bassmaster Show on CMT.
Bassmaster said he wants to bring his humor to the platform's "already massive audience."
