Guangzhou – October 19, 2026 -- The 2026 Canton Fair Design Award (CF Award) selected 222 products from 174 companies out of 4,218 entries submitted by 2,112 companies, as the 140th Canton Fair opened. The winners are on display in Area D of the Canton Fair Complex.
A domestically developed high-performance sport motorcycle and an intelligent navigation capsule robot gastric endoscopy system received the Best of the Best Award, the competition's highest recognition.
Smart products account for over 30% of winners
AI-powered glasses, intelligent conference terminals and smart healthcare devices extend AI applications across home, office, medical and outdoor environments. Breakthrough entries ranged from an upper limb motor function assistance and enhancement system to exoskeleton robots.
Green products make up more than 40% of winning entries
Integrated energy-saving panels and sugarcane paper illustrate how sustainability is being built into product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes.
Evaluation covers five dimensions across multiple rounds
Entries were judged on innovation, quality, functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. The selection rate stood at 222 of 4,218 products after multiple evaluation rounds. Established in 2013, the award targets products that combine design excellence with commercial value, supporting what organizers describe as high-quality trade development.
Themed showcase groups winners into four application zones
Within the award exhibition, immersive displays are organized around four concepts: Outdoor Pleasure, Smart Living, Cozy Home and Kitchen Elegance. The zones are designed to show buyers how the winning designs fit into everyday use.
