CAEVES Launches Context LAKE to Cut AI Token Costs by 47x

New York – October 7, 2026 -- CAEVES Technology, Inc. will make its Context LAKETM platform generally available on October 20, 2026, extending AI data access beyond Microsoft Azure to any public, private, sovereign cloud, or on-premises datacenter environment.

Context LAKE cuts AI token consumption by up to 47 times in internal testing

CAEVES reports that its indexing and enrichment layer reduces the volume of raw content AI assistants must process per query, cutting token consumption by up to 47x and lowering associated AI token costs. Director of AI Innovation Kirk Ryan said the system allows an assistant to query once and retrieve the relevant passages with sources, rather than opening and paying to process file after file.

Platform indexes data without migration, preserving existing permissions

Context LAKE connects to enterprise data across file shares, object storage, Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive without requiring copying or duplication into a separate platform. It runs as an intelligence layer inside the customer's own environment, indexing data in place while enforcing existing security, governance and access controls. Answers generated through the system remain traceable to their original source.

Platform serves trusted context to Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT via MCP

The system delivers governed, enriched data to Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, custom agents and private AI deployments through Model Context Protocol, including in fully air-gapped environments. Customers retain control over where data resides, which AI assistants can access it, and what those assistants are permitted to see. Co-Founder Jaap van Duijvenbode said organizations should not have to choose between the AI tools they want to use and where their data is required to remain.

Subscription licensing covers on-premises, private, sovereign and public cloud deployments

Context LAKE will be offered as an annual or multi-year software subscription license across on-premises datacenters, private and sovereign clouds, and public clouds. For Microsoft customers, it will be available in the Microsoft Marketplace for deployment within a customer's own Azure subscription, with additional cloud provider marketplace listings to follow after launch.

Platform complements existing storage modernization tool offering up to 70% cost reduction

Context LAKE extends capabilities introduced in CAEVES Intelligent Deep StorageTM and CAEVES Copilot ConnectorTM. Organizations can connect existing data in place via Context LAKE or modernize file data to Azure Blob Storage through Intelligent Deep Storage, which CAEVES states can reduce storage costs by up to 70%.
