Dallas – October 21, 2026 -- Business Jet, a private aviation company based at Dallas Love Field, has become an authorized Starlink dealer and installer. The move lets it sell and fit SpaceX's low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite internet on private aircraft.
Supplemental type certificates cover seven large-cabin models today
Business Jet currently offers supplemental type certificates (STCs) for the Gulfstream G450, G550, G650, G650ER and GV. It also offers them for the Bombardier Global 6000, Express and XRS.
Customers can schedule installations through Lina Sabbah, the company's Director of Aircraft Solutions and Acquisitions.
Additional STCs are expected by year-end, with Falcon models due in 2025
Starlink is expected to keep expanding its certifications and the list of supported aircraft. Business Jet expects STCs for further models by the end of the year:
- Challenger 300 and 350
- Gulfstream GIV
- Bombardier Global 5000, 5500, 6500 and 7500
- Embraer Praetor, Legacy 600 and Legacy 650
Various Falcon models are scheduled to follow in 2025. The source gives no pricing, installation timelines or customer volumes.
Starlink's LEO constellation targets the limits of conventional cabin WiFi
Business Jet cites four advantages of the Starlink system: high speed, global coverage, low latency and easy integration. It says the technology performs better than traditional jet WiFi services for streaming and back-to-back virtual meetings.
Sabbah said the offering reflects the company's aim to provide tailored solutions that keep travelers more connected.
