Boeing, Icelease Sign 767-300BCF Deal With Options for Two More

PLANO – November 02, 2026 -- Boeing and aircraft lessor Icelease have agreed an order for one 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF), with options for up to two more, as Icelease expands its freighter portfolio.

First converted 767 is due for delivery in Q2 2027

The first aircraft is scheduled for induction in Q1 2027, with delivery of the converted freighter expected in Q2 2027. Boeing will carry out the conversions at ST Engineering's airframe MRO facilities in Singapore.

The two parties signed the agreement on Oct. 22, 2026, during the Cargo Facts Symposium.

IAT Leasing will add the 767 to a fleet that includes seven 737-800BCFs

The 767-300BCF will join the managed cargo portfolio of IAT Leasing, Icelease's Dublin-based sister company. That portfolio already includes seven Boeing 737-800BCFs and other freighters leased to various customers. Icelease Managing Partner Sigthor Einarsson called the deal "an important milestone" for both companies.

IAT Leasing was incorporated in late 2023 and has built a portfolio of around 40 narrow- and widebody passenger and cargo aircraft. Four equity partners own the aircraft, which are leased to airlines worldwide. The two lessors share common majority ownership.

Boeing cites 20-year relationship and global cargo demand

Icelease's history with Boeing spans more than 20 years and includes new aircraft deliveries as well as cargo conversions, according to Einarsson. Lindsey Douglas, Boeing vice president for Cabin, Modifications, Maintenance and Digital Services, said the agreement reflects collaboration to meet global cargo demand.

Boeing describes the 767-300BCF as the world's most efficient medium widebody converted freighter, with a range of 3,300 nmi and a 57-tonne payload.
