Sunnyvale – October 21, 2026 -- BMI Imaging Systems, Inc. is reviewing its end-to-end client project process after its CEO and an executive vice president attended the IIMDA Fall 2026 meeting in Québec City, Canada, on October 5–7.
BMI sends two executives to the three-day IIMDA meeting
CEO Will Whitney and EVP Brad Gilbert represented the secure digitization provider at the gathering. IIMDA members used the meeting to present how they run operations, serve clients and prepare for developments in information management.
The event is built around member presentations rather than a conventional trade show format. Providers walk peers through real processes and lessons learned.
Intake, quality control and communication drive the review
Whitney said the executives returned with "a stack of notes" and are already using them to examine BMI's process from the first client call through delivery.
Gilbert said that hearing how other operations handle intake, quality control and project communication produced practical ideas. He added that some can be implemented right away.
BMI targets clearer communication across every project stage
The review focuses on clearer communication and a smoother client experience at each stage of a project. BMI did not disclose timelines, budgets or specific process changes.
