TORONTO – October 31, 2026 -- Blue Moon Metals Inc. (TSXV: MOON; NASDAQ: BMM) has terminated its proposed acquisition of a portfolio of 33 tungsten and antimony projects in the western United States, ending a deal first disclosed in a news release dated August 11, 2026.
Blue Moon and the vendor end the portfolio deal by mutual consent
The private owner and Blue Moon agreed to end the arm's-length transaction under the terms of the letter agreement dated August 10, 2026. The source gives no financial terms for the deal and no reason for the termination.
Blue Moon completes its move from British Columbia to Ontario effective October 23, 2026
The company's corporate continuance from the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) to the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) took effect on October 23, 2026. Blue Moon filed new articles and by-laws with the Ontario ministry, replacing its prior notice of articles and articles.
Shareholders approved both the continuance and the new governing documents at the annual and special meeting held on July 30, 2026. The certificate of continuance, new articles and by-laws will be available on SEDAR+ under the company's issuer profile.
Six brownfield projects remain in Blue Moon's portfolio after the deal ends
Blue Moon is advancing six brownfield polymetallic projects: Nussir and NSG in Norway, and Blue Moon, Springer, Apex and Turner in the United States. Springer is a tungsten-molybdenum project. The company says all six have existing local infrastructure, including roads and power.
Zinc, copper and tungsten appear on both the USGS and EU lists of metals critical to the global economy and national security. Germanium and gallium are on the USGS list. Blue Moon's major shareholders include Teck Resources Limited, funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, Hartree Partners LP, Wheaton Precious Metals, Altius Minerals Corporation, Baker Steel Resources Trust, LNS and Monial.
