DALBAR joins as independent judge for the 2026 program

The digital awards program, which recognizes companies, innovators and professionals across financial services and fintech, is judged in collaboration with DALBAR. Steve Worthy, Managing Director of DALBAR, said the firm will contribute independent research and analytical rigor, assessing nominees against objective standards of excellence, innovation and client impact.

Winners to be announced before November 19 event in Manhattan

The program will culminate in an in-person event on November 19, 2026, at Ascent Lounge, 10 Columbus Circle, 4th Floor, New York. Award winners, sponsors and industry leaders are expected to attend. Benzinga said winners will be announced ahead of the event.

Andrew Lebbos, SVP of Licensing at Benzinga, said the field has never been harder to judge in the program's 12th year. He noted that most of the companies now competing did not exist a dozen years ago.

Benzinga links awards to its API and data business

Benzinga CEO and CTO Dave Maher described the company's evolution from a newsroom into something closer to infrastructure over twelve years. Real-time news, analyst ratings and corporate event data read by millions of retail investors on its site now flow through its APIs into brokerages, trading platforms and AI systems. Maher said Benzinga works alongside many of the honorees daily.

Sponsorship opportunities for the event are available through the Benzinga fintech awards page.
