ARLINGTON, Va. – October 29, 2026 -- AWS Glue posted the highest Net Emotional Footprint (NEF) score, +94, among six vendors named champions in Infotech's 2026 Data Integration Emotional Footprint Report.
Six vendors score between +85 and +94 on user sentiment
Flowgear followed AWS Glue with +91 and was rated highly for transparency. Zapier scored +90 for enabling productivity, and Microsoft SQL Server scored +89 for reliability. Boomi recorded +86 for trustworthiness, and Azure Data Factory recorded +85 for friendly negotiations. AWS Glue was rated highly for being altruistic.
NEF aggregates answers to 25 questions from verified users
NEF is a composite score built from responses to 25 questions. It reflects the overall emotional tone of user feedback toward a vendor and its product. The data comes from SoftwareReviews, Infotech's peer-review platform, which collects verified feedback from users and IT professionals involved in procurement, implementation and maintenance.
Infotech advisor links vendor choice to long-term dependency
Abbas Jaffery, principal advisory director at Infotech, said buyers are choosing a vendor their team "may depend on for years." He said an integration failure can affect every process that relies on the data. Vendors build trust, he said, by helping clients adapt integrations as business needs change and by stating clearly what their products support. For buyers, he said, feedback from existing users shows what to expect after implementation.
The report is aimed at organizations that use data integration platforms to connect applications, databases and cloud environments. The platforms handle extraction, transformation, synchronization, quality management and monitoring of data flows. Infotech positions the sentiment scores as a complement to technical evaluation in vendor selection.
