Anjuna Northstar Wins 2026 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Privacy Award

PALO ALTO – – October 09, 2026 -- Anjuna Security's Anjuna Northstar, billed as the first AI model and data fusion clean room, has won the "Data Privacy Solution of the Year" award in the 10th annual CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards.

The 2026 program drew thousands of nominations from organizations in more than 20 countries, according to the organizer. CyberSecurity Breakthrough is part of Tech Breakthrough LLC, which states that its recognition reflects its own opinions and not statements of fact.

Northstar targets the limits of legacy clean rooms for AI workloads

Anjuna Northstar runs on Anjuna Seaglass, the company's Universal Confidential Computing Platform. The vendor says code and data stay protected from ingestion through processing to analysis. The product is aimed at AI operations teams and data scientists, who can share sensitive data with partners, develop and run models, and obtain results without exposing the underlying data.

Anjuna CEO Ayal Yogev said traditional clean rooms lack the flexibility and scalability that security-first enterprises need. Steve Johansson, managing director of CyberSecurity Breakthrough, said AI models create risk vectors that legacy data clean rooms were not designed to address.

Remote attestation and data-in-use isolation close hardware and memory attack vectors

Anjuna says confidential computing closes off hardware-based and memory-based attack vectors. Remote attestation and data-in-use isolation are used to verify each collaboration environment.

New confidential clean rooms can be created on demand. Partners can prepare datasets interactively and work in common tools such as Jupyter notebooks. The product runs with any cloud provider and in on-premises environments.
