PEEKSKILL – – October 29, 2026 -- Eric J. Dalton, Vice President & Visionary of Angels on Call Homecare, has won Healthcare Visionary of the Year in the 2026 IE100 Global Awards, his second consecutive title after the 2025 recognition.
Angels on Call becomes first U.S. homecare provider with CPDC accreditation
Since Dalton's first award, the New York-based provider has built out its clinical credentials in neurological care. It is the first U.S. homecare provider to earn Certified Parkinson Disease Care (CPDC) accreditation. It is also the only homecare provider that pairs CPDC with the Parkinson's Foundation's Community Partners in Parkinson's Care (CPPC) designation.
Dementia program adds accreditation, Alzheimer's Association-recognized training
The dementia care model includes specialized accreditation in dementia excellence and a training program recognized by the Alzheimer's Association. It also includes advanced clinical oversight and workforce education. The stated aim is to move care beyond routine assistance toward preserving identity, supporting independence and improving quality of life.
Provider joins CareScout Quality Network and earns Age-Friendly recognition
Angels on Call has also received Age-Friendly Health Systems - Committed to Care Excellence recognition and joined the CareScout Quality Network. It continues to expand RN-led case management, specialized workforce development, family education and aging-in-place support.
Dalton argues that homecare should sit more deeply within the healthcare continuum, as a setting for prevention, observation, education and clinical coordination rather than custodial support alone. His agenda centers on stronger standards in dementia and Parkinson's care, better caregiver competency and earlier long-term care planning.
Robert Dalton, CEO & CFO of Angels on Call Homecare, said the second award reflects the systems, programs and standards built around Dalton's vision, not the vision alone.
"If we do this right, families will expect a higher standard of care tomorrow because of what we are building today," Dalton said.
