Global – October 27, 2026 -- Alteryx is marketing its platform as the governed business-logic layer on top of Snowflake's AI Data Cloud. It cites a 90% time saving in campaign development at Telenet and a 25% subscriber increase at BODi as proof points.
Alteryx pushes transformation logic into Snowflake while business users own the rules
Alteryx pushes transformation logic down into Snowflake for performance. It gives business users a no-code way to build and govern the rules that turn raw data into decisions. The company's argument is that Snowflake stores and scales data, but a warehouse does not know definitions such as a "qualified pipeline" or an "at-risk account." Without those rules made explicit, an LLM or AI agent querying the data is left to guess, producing inconsistent answers and hallucinations.
Five use cases span finance, procurement, customer success and inventory
Alteryx names five patterns:
- Financial close reconciliation: automated matching routes only genuine exceptions to analysts. Alteryx says close cycles compress from weeks to days.
- Supplier risk monitoring: financial data, delivery logs, quality reports and external risk feeds are scored continuously instead of quarterly.
- Customer churn prediction: engagement, usage, support and payment data are combined into a single scoring logic.
- Inventory optimization: reorder points update as live sales trends, lead times, seasonality and demand forecasts change.
- AI grounding: workflows act as the governed source of truth for AI systems, dashboards and agents.
VURA framework sets four governance criteria for every workflow
Alteryx describes each workflow as Visible, Understandable, Repeatable and Auditable. Every transformation, calculation and decision is logged and traceable to its source. The company says this lets executives, auditors and regulators trace an AI output back to the exact rule that produced it.
Telenet cuts campaign development from weeks to hours
The Belgian telecommunications company moved from a legacy environment to Snowflake and AWS. It adopted Alteryx as a low-code ETL and workflow tool, so business analysts could build, schedule and run marketing workflows without IT. Campaign development shrank from weeks to hours, a 90% time saving, and NPS campaign reach rose by more than 5%.
BODi links 2 million subscribers to a Customer 360 view
BODi, a fitness and wellness platform with over 2 million subscribers, had data split across an on-premises warehouse, cloud storage and a data lake. Insights were delayed by up to 48 hours. After adopting Snowflake alongside Alteryx, it built a single source of truth covering customer, distributor and financial data. It also built a Customer 360 view of roughly 80 attributes and ML-driven scoring for loyalty and purchase propensity. BODi reports a 25% increase in subscribers.
