Pembroke Pines, Fla. – September 10, 2026 -- Alocity, the AI Operating System for physical spaces, has announced support for Mercury Security's open access control platform, integrating Mercury's controller infrastructure with Alocity's cloud-native access control, AI Video, intercom, and visitor management software.

The integration lets integrators and enterprise customers combine Mercury's established access control foundation with Alocity's AI-driven software layer, avoiding a choice between legacy infrastructure and modern cloud tools. Marco Quintero, Founder and CEO of Alocity, said Mercury represents the open infrastructure and customer choice the physical security industry needs, and that Alocity can now pair that foundation with a new generation of AI-driven software.
Aimee enables natural-language queries across doors, cameras, and visitors
Through Aimee, authorized users can query access control, camera feeds, intercoms, and AI Video Agents using natural language, such as identifying who entered a loading dock after 9 PM or locating a vehicle tied to a specific access event. The platform links access control, video, and visitor management so these systems share context rather than operating as separate applications.
Alocity extends its open-platform strategy from cameras to controllers
On the video side, Alocity's AIVR technology adds AI search, real-time detection, and contextual reasoning to existing IP cameras. On the access side, Mercury's open controller architecture supports a broad ecosystem of readers, credentials, and locking hardware. Alocity connects both environments through a single AI-driven Control Center, allowing customers to select hardware per project while standardizing software and user experience across an organization.
Integrator partners gain a modernization path without hardware replacement
Security integration partners can design new Mercury-based Alocity deployments or upgrade existing Mercury installations toward cloud management, AI video, and automation without forcing customers into a new proprietary hardware stack. DJ Atkins, SVP of Channel Development at Alocity, said partners already understand Mercury and open architecture, and that Alocity gives them a new software and AI platform for those conversations.
