London – October 21, 2026 -- Allen-Vanguard is launching SECURIS, a mobile counter-drone trailer built with four partner companies, at DSEi 25 in London. The system combines RF detection, radar, optical recognition and RF jamming on one rapidly deployable platform.
Four specialist partners supply detection and defeat layers
Metis, Blighter, Openworks and EdeyFX joined Allen-Vanguard on the project. Metis contributes its SKYPERION RF detection, which the source says NATO allies use in various integrated systems. Blighter provides radar target acquisition through its A400 series. Openworks supplies the Vision Flex optical recognition system, with long-range imagers, slew-to-cue capability and twin AI modules for detection, tracking and identification.
Allen-Vanguard adds its ANCILE C-UAS RF Effectors for the defeat function. EdeyFX built the bespoke trailer chassis, with layout informed by operational input.
Open architecture opens the door to Protection-as-a-Service
The modular, open design lets customers receive updates and new technology as part of a package rather than buying a one-off capability. Allen-Vanguard plans to offer this as Protection-as-a-Service (PaaS).
Bobby Strawbridge, President of Allen-Vanguard, said the system delivers what customers have been demanding. He described all four partners as agile SMEs and recognised domain knowledge experts in their fields.
Launch targets threats to people, infrastructure and key locations
The partners position SECURIS against the growing misuse of drones around people, infrastructure and key sites. Details will be available at Allen-Vanguard's stand S5-540 at DSEi 25, Excel, London, from 9 to 12 September 2025.
