Andover, Mass. – September 07, 2026 -- ALKU, a specialized staffing firm, has acquired rockITdata, a technology consulting firm focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation and data analytics, financial terms were not disclosed.
ALKU gains project-delivery capability beyond staffing
The deal pairs ALKU's talent-sourcing model with rockITdata's solutions expertise, allowing the combined firm to offer end-to-end project ownership rather than staffing placements alone. ALKU CEO Andrew Bull said the acquisition lets the company solve larger, more complex client problems by combining rockITdata's technical execution in AI, data and federal health with ALKU's talent reach.
Deal targets federal health and HCIT expansion
rockITdata serves enterprise and public sector clients, including healthcare, life sciences and government organizations. The acquisition extends ALKU's Healthcare Information Technology capabilities and gives it entry into specialized federal health contracts, a segment where rockITdata has built delivery experience.
rockITdata leadership frames deal as scale opportunity
Daniel Thode, President of rockITdata, said the company's technical staff can now draw on ALKU's specialized talent pipeline to meet existing client demand at scale. Thode said the combination creates a model for delivering specialized expertise to support technology transformation across both current and new markets.
ALKU is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, with seven additional U.S. locations. The company said it remains committed to its core staffing model even as it builds out higher-touch AI and solutions delivery services through the rockITdata integration.
