Alkami, Bank Director to Host AI Strategy Webinar for Banks Oct. 13

Plano – October 08, 2026 -- Alkami Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALKT) will co-host a webinar with Bank Director on Tuesday, October 13 at 1 p.m. CDT, titled "From AI Ambition to Action: Strategies That Deliver Measurable Results," targeting banks and credit unions seeking practical AI deployment frameworks.

Webinar draws on Alkami's proprietary consumer research into AI banking perceptions

The session will examine how consumers expect AI to affect their banking experience and where financial institutions can generate measurable value. Discussion topics include starting AI strategy from a defined business problem rather than the technology itself, and building governance, training, and human-review protocols into adoption from the outset.

Alkami executive says AI should move account holders from intent to action

"AI creates an opportunity for digital banking to move from recommendation to progress," said Stephen Bohanon, founder and chief strategy officer at Alkami. "The real value comes from helping them move from intent to action with less friction, more confidence, and the right institutional controls in place."

Panel includes Unconventional Ventures founder and two Alkami product leaders

Speakers include Theo Lau, founder of Unconventional Ventures; Charles Hack, director of data at Alkami; and Conner Boyd, vice president of product management at Alkami. Lau said AI earns trust when it improves a person's financial life in a tangible way, arguing institutions should start with a real need and select technology that fits their mission.

Discussion targets regional and community institutions' relationship advantage

The webinar will address how regional and community financial institutions can leverage existing account-holder relationships as AI reshapes money management interactions, with protection and service positioned as initial use cases for earning permission to expand AI applications. Topics also cover progressing from AI-driven recommendations to bounded, auditable actions within approved institutional policies and permissions.
