Zurich – September 19, 2026 -- ACROBiosystems has established a dedicated office within The HIVE Innovation Center on Campus Grand Parc in Villejuif, deepening its footprint in France's oncology research corridor. The move, facilitated by real estate operator Kadans Science Partner, gives the roughly 1,000-employee biotechnology group direct proximity to biotechs, hospitals, and translational research institutes clustered around Paris-Saclay.
ACROBiosystems joins a biocluster it entered as a member last year
The company became a member of the Paris-Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC) in 2025, and the new HIVE office is positioned to extend those regional ties. Campus Grand Parc concentrates oncology-focused clinical partners and research teams, an environment ACROBiosystems says aligns with its role supplying reagents and services across the drug development chain -- from recombinant proteins and antibodies to GMP-grade custom production.
Founded in 2010, the company now operates across three continents
ACROBiosystems, founded in 2010 and listed in 2021, runs offices, R&D centers, and production facilities across Europe, North America, and Asia, serving pharmaceutical companies, CRO/CDMOs, and academic institutes. Its product brands -- including Resilient Supply, CytoPak, SAFENSURE, Star Staining, and GENPower -- concentrate on oncology, cell and gene therapy, and immunotherapeutics.
Executives frame the office as an ecosystem entry point, not a standalone outpost
Mike Chen, Chairman, Founder & CEO of ACROBiosystems, said the Paris-Saclay region combines scientific research, clinical excellence, and a maturing biotech community, and that the HIVE presence positions the company to work directly with partners developing new oncology, immuno-oncology, and advanced therapies. Sandrine Lo, Investment & Asset Manager at Kadans Science Partner, said the decision reflects the ecosystem's growing global draw. Kadans operates The HIVE as a lab and office building dedicated to life sciences tenants on the Campus Grand Parc site.
